Supporting Lehman’s Immanuel Approach Work

The leadership at InterVarsity has decided that the atypical administration for the Immanuel Approach training fund has been so difficult that they have ended it, and we have now transitioned to a new arrangement. Charlotte and I have set up a Lehman-Immanuel-Approach-Ministry Fund, which you can contribute to by Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Wise (for international), or simply sending an old-fashioned check (details below). NOTE that mine and Charlotte’s Immanuel Approach ministry is not set up as a 501c3 (the administrative requirements are quite burdensome for such a small endeavor), so your contributions to the new Lehman IA Ministry Fund will not be tax-deductible. But if you do not itemize your income tax deductions (or you are willing to contribute even without a deduction), and you trust Charlotte and I to steward your contributions with conscientiousness and integrity, then please give as you feel led. (For more details, see the “Everything I would want to know if I were a donor” document below.)

The good news is that the 13% administration fee will no longer be deducted from donations (since they will no longer be going through the InterVarsity system). Another up-side to this new plan is that the more general Lehman-Immanuel-Approach-Ministry fund will help support the many aspects of our Immanuel Approach work beyond just training and consultation for InterVarsity.
