I was initially exposed to and trained in The Immanuel Approach in 2016. I have been conducting sessions one-on-one via Zoom with clients all over the world since 2019. I was part of Dr. Karl's mentoring group for 3 years and continue to have direct access to Dr. Lehman for consultation as needed.

At the Immanuel Institute, we’re training trauma-informed therapists, counselors, pastors, lay leaders, and healers in the Immanuel Approach.
Our Level I training, The Immanuel Approach for Life, is the first phase of formation in the Immanuel Approach. In this 7-week course, students are introduced to the model's core principles, invited into a healing community, and trained to facilitate an initial connection with Jesus for self and others.
Upon successful completion of Level I, students are invited to apply to the Immanuel Institute's comprehensive cohort program: The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing. This set of courses offers trauma-informed instruction and scaffolded practicum experiences to develop the skills and capacity to apply the Immanuel Approach to pain and trauma. Those who complete Level II and all requirements of certification are eligible to become Certified Practitioners of the Immanuel Approach.
