Dr Karl Lehman presents his vision for how the Immanuel approach provides basic tools that lay people from any culture can quickly learn and teach in order to connect to God and permanently resolve trauma and the barriers between us and God. We hope to create a more polished version of this teaching in the future.
This video was created by Pastor Patti Velotta a colleague of Dr Lehman who is an Immanuel approach trainer.
We did not create the Jesus is Emmanuel video, but we appreciate those who did. We realize that no human actor can fully capture the way Jesus relates to us in a manner that is always contingent and fully present to us. However, we appreciate the way this video presents a relational Jesus who rejoices with those who rejoice and weeps with those who weep, and who is always always present whether we recognize him or not. It is striking to us that when we facilitate Immanuel approach sessions, people often report imagery/experiences similar to those portrayed in this video. An ongoing awareness of Jesus’ Immanuel presence, whether visual or through another sense, is the goal and gift of practicing the Immanuel approach to emotional healing and to life. This video reminds us of the truth that Jesus is always with us.
